Benevolence
As we reach out to our own church family and other people in need, we often lend a helping hand. One way Hilltop assists people is by helping with special monetary needs. If a need arises, the Benevolence Ministry Team:
(1) discusses the issue with the person in need
(2) prayerfully assesses the need
(3) we do whatever we are able to do to help.
From time to time we make referrals and ask other people to help take care of the need. This team has a heart for people in need.
The Benevolence Ministry Team always spends over their budgeted amount. If you would like to give a monetary contribution to the Benevolence Ministry Team, you too, can help with the benevolence needs of our community. Anyone who has a heart for the hurting and people in need, and/or has a good sense of monetary stewardship is invited to be on the Benevolence Ministry Team.
