Personal Mission Site Team

Purpose of the Personal Mission Site Team

The purpose of the personal mission site team is to lead people to discover their personal area of influence, equip them with tools, and provide support for bringing the Good News to our towns.

The Mission Mandate in the Personal Mission Site Team

   Invest:  The Personal Mission Site team will invest in people by leading them

                through a process that helps each person discover their site. Also, this

                team will invest in people by equipping them with the tools they need to

                live as a missionary.

   Ignite:  The Personal Mission Site team will ignite our towns by sending these

                out into their places of influence as missionaries. 

Restore: The Personal Mission Site team will restore people to God by holding Hilltop’s

                members accountable to the Great Commission and support them in their

                individual personal mission sites.

The Personal Mission Site Team is apart of Hilltop’s Going Ministry

 The Personal Mission Site Team is rooted in God’s calling to go into the world and make disciples. God has deemed us his ambassadors and the Personal Mission Site Team helps each person to rise to that calling.

Potential Goals for the Personal Mission Site Team

 1. Develop a multi-week process that helps people identify their personal mission site

          - Move every person at Hilltop through this process during the 2011-2012 year

2. Develop training curriculum that will give specific and general tools for missionaries

          - Move each person at Hilltop through this process during the 2011-2012 year

Ways to Track the Personal Mission Site Team’s Goals

 1.  Develop a method of sharing and celebrating success stories and mentors those

     struggling in their personal mission sites

 2.  Develop a method of sharing and circulating success stories throughout the church.

    Track how many success stories are being told and celebrated each month.

 3.  Develop instruments that evaluate the discovery and training process (i.e. surveys,

     post-training interviews, feedback emails etc).

Personal Mission Site Team Leader Qualities

+   Is on fire for the Lord and His family the Church

+   Loves to serve people

+   Is all about building up people – not judging and tearing down.

+   Is a good motivator and initiator

+   Has a passion for his/her neighbors

+   Loves the Hilltop Staff and enjoys working together with them

+   Can lovingly walk with team members and keep members accountable

+   Is self-controlled, stable, and confident, meeting changes with a sense of

     calmness and peacefulness

+   Understands, owns, and can articulate our mission

+   Teachable – a learner, humbly open to new ideas and constructive criticism

+   Has very good communication skills

+   Is an organizer

+   Is a baptized believer in Christ
