Full Time Staff 

Jon Reed - Minister

Jon is a native Southern Californian, has been in full time ministry for 16 years, and served as a part time youth minister in El Segundo during the 1980's. He received his theological training at Pepperdine University (B.A. in religion, M.A. in Marital and Family Counseling, M.A. in Divinity.) Jon is currently working on a Doctorate of Ministry at Harding Graduate School of Theology in Memphis. He lives in El Segundo with his wife Rebecca, their teenage son, teenage daughter, and dog "Freckles". Jon has been serving at the Hilltop Community Church of Christ as the full time minister since September, 1996. Jon loves: golf, racquetball, ping pong and every sport there is. He also enjoys movies and is learning to play "Rock band" and Wii games with his two children.

Scott Lambert - Kairos Church Planting

Scott lives in El Segundo with his wife, Kim, and his 3 beautiful children. He came to Hilltop after serving nearly 20 years at Pepperdine University in Malibu. He has been serving as Hilltop's Associate Minister for 3 years primarily helping Hilltop establish a vital Small Groups Ministry. He is now working full-time with Kairos, our church-planting ministry.

Monica Moreland - Small Group Minister

Monica has been with Hilltop since July of 2006. She came to Hilltop after living in Kiev, Ukraine as a missionary for several years. Before Ukraine, Monica worked as a Life Skills Lab Instructor for HOPE Works in Memphis, TN. She loves working with the Hilltop ministers as the Small Group Minister. Since living in El Segundo Monica has become a foster mom. She thoroughly enjoys her new family dynamics with Shannon. Monica loves Hilltop and is very happy to live and work with this Christian Family

Jordan Watson - Youth Minister

Jordan is a Pepperdine University alumnus and graduated with Bachelors in Religion and Speech Communication. During his years at Pepperdine he played on the water polo team, served in campus ministry as the outreach coordinator, worked in the convocation office as the speaking intern, and served in numerous youth ministry internships. Jordan’s main focus in ministry is to reach out and accept people where they are, and inspire others to reach out to those around them in genuine acceptance and love. Jordan, also helps coach club and high school water polo. He writes daily on his personal blog jordantwatson.com  and is the creator and founder of SpreadingStories.com a website dedicated to highlighting new churches in America. In his free time, Jordan enjoys any and all sports, reading, writing, hanging at the beach, watching movies, quoting movies, laughing, and having an awesome time!

Diane Grinley - Office Staff

Diane & her family came to Hilltop in the spring of 2003 when their friend, Aubrey Davidson, invited them to Friendship Sunday. They immediately felt "at home." She began working in the office in September 2006 and primarily works with Jon & the worship team preparing for Sunday services, answering phones & handling the finances. She is ever thankful that God's mercies are new every morning.

Kerrie Clark - Office Staff

Kerrie and her family moved to El Segundo in July of 2007 and has been working with Hilltop since January of 2009 as an assistant to Hilltop's Small Group Minister and Youth Minister. She and her family are a vital part of life on the Hilltop and love being a part of the Hilltop family.
